We realized the second Practical Janitza workshop on June 9, 2022, in the premises of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje. This year we had 20 participants from 15 companies.
The event was organized in 4 parts. In the first part we elaborated in the main novelty of this year - the newest versions of GridVis software (Essentials / Stanard / Expert). Ways to upgrade older versions of GridVis were also demonstrated, along with the benefits of using newer versions. In addition, we demonstrated several functionalities such as editing the WEB interface, manual data entry in the application (DataInput), as well as the way it is managed in the tool KeyPerformanceIndicator (KPI).
The second part aimed to present the novelties in the measuring devices. A demonstration panel was made especially for this part, to which 10 Janitza devices were placed and connected, including the new models. Colleague Zlatko Nikolovski presented the possibilities of the modular platform UMG801, as well as the new device that has a MID certificate (UMG96-PA-MID +). The whole thing was completed with the presentation of the new Class S analyzer UMG96-PQ-L.
Electricity quality monitoring is one of the 3 applications covered by the Janitza system solution. So, at this year's edition, we decided to make a small introduction to this issue. We had the honor to follow the presentation of our longtime collaborator in this field, Mr. Iljas Iljazi, during which the attendees had the opportunity to hear about the foundations on which this area is based. We announced then and now that we will be even more committed to providing fresh and practical information on the quality of electricity.
Our workshop culminates in PART 4 with presentations from companies using the Janitza system solution. At the same time, the attendees were introduced to real and practical experiences from the use, ideas and opportunities for improvement.
