On October 9, 2019 we held the first practical demonstration workshop for the solutions by the manufacturer Janitza - one of the world's top manufacturers of solutions for energy management, monitoring power quality and monitoring leakage (RCM).
During the event companies who own such system solutions were primarily addressed, but participants from companies that were introduced to this equipment for the first time were welcomed as well.
The need for this event to take place resulted from the frequent communication with companies regarding the functionality of the system, and the goal was to present the basic and advanced tools that can be made available and can further contribute to the ongoing processes.
Thus, first part of the event was a review of the devices for measuring the consumption and quality of electricity, and their classification and origin in accordance with the segmentation of the measurement points. Other advanced functionalities such as JASIC programming new functionality - apps WEB (EN50160 Watchdog, Measurement Monitor, IEC61000 Watchdog) were presented as well. There was also a presentation for innovations presented through the multi-platform UMG801, or the multipurpose device UMG96PA, new MRG analysts and so on…
The second part of the workshop was predominantly of a practical nature, within which the basic functionality of the software application GridVis were presented. During this part of the event the topology (making the display), graphical display of measurements, display of various forms of reports and so were presented as well.
The third and final part was entirely practical, where participants were showcased advanced functionalities such as alarm management and time management. We made a demonstration of JASIC program alert in case of voltage drop phase, with an alarm being sent as an email and a beep.
Under the third part we demonstrated the WEB interface of the latest version of GridVis 7.3 Ultimate edition, which featured some of the typical ways of arranging the WEB interface, use of templates, etc..
The workshop was finalized by presenting our program for support of reinstalled systems, where the attendees were given the opportunity to further ensure the proper functioning of the systems.
We thank all participants of the event, and we announce more events and a more detailed explanation of the functions, consistent with the results of a small survey conducted at the end of the event.
